Reaching for her wad of cold hard cash

It occurred to her that once upon a time this would have been impossible

Currency was a foreign concept back then, a language she barely knew

How she became so fluent, well that was a story for another time

Majestic sunlight splashed into puddles beneath the lush green canopy

Everything here was damp or wet from the extreme humidity

Robot Pause

Sorry, but I won’t have an acrostic poem for you tonight. I was pretty busy creating a new version of a cool robot hand made out of rubber bands for the actual “fingers”. I’ll get a video of it together so you can see it in the next couple of days as well as a n acrostic poem to go with it.

Believe in what cannot be seen

Leave the mundane behind and fly with gossamer wings

Infuse your life with the magic around you

Nothing can really hold you back when you brace the impossible

Don’t hesitate and close your eyes and see

Motivated to keep on moving

Until I can’t move anymore

Seems like a recipe for fitness

Could be, but that would mean the day after

Letting my body get its revenge

Every fiber letting me know what I did

So I sit here. sedentary, in a negotiated peace.
