Sleep (an acrostic poem)

So there you are, lying in the dark

Looking for sweet oblivion, but the only oblivion you’ve seen lately was on a milk cartons

Every minute seems like an hour

Every hour seems like days

Punishing your snooze button when the alarm startles you awake moments after you finally fell

  1. That does seem to be the way it goes. I hope you get some real sleep soon!
