Heroes wielding swords and rescuing damsels in distress were in short supply at Walmart so…

Emily decided that it was time for her to grab her own murder instrument and show the world

Life and society thought she didn’t have what it took to get things done, that she needed a savior

Perhaps they should have thought twice before she began her rampage.  Now those idiots needed…

Supernova hatred exploded from Jim.

The waves of revulsion swept over Andy, knocking him back a step.

Andy worried about what was left of the man who used to be his best friend.

Realizing that now a black hole was where Jim’s heart used to be.

Words dribble out of my fingers

Raw unfiltered fragments of imagination

Incandescent with flashes of brilliance

Though often followed by long droughts of darkness

Engulfing everything in shades of mediocrity

Putting things together for the first time inside my head

Letting me complete the equation of why and how

Until now I was foolishly worried about each part individually

So now I can worry about the whole thing as I should have all along

After the bell rang, Clarice looked behind her.

No wings yet, but she kept her head held high.

Getting them would mean she hade made it

Everything came down to that moment in her life

Looking at the program she smiled and settled back

So many more chances as the handbells started their next song

Dirt packed under his ragged fingernails

It was something he prided himself on

Grabbing the wrench he went back to work

Giving another shot at fixing the old backhoe

Even though the brand new one sat right next to it

Really didn’t want to let his dear friend go quite yet
