Chaos (an acrostic poem)

Cacophony of past and future ideas

Hoarded on every flat surface of her office

A dizzying architecture of paperwork, books, and coffee mugs littered the officescape

Organized by randomness and curated by wild pixies

Still, she found the correct form in less than twenty seconds

Gluttony (an acrostic poem)

Gastronomical wonders coursed through his dreams

Leaving Gary with a sense of contentment

Until the alarm went off announcing the next course

Towering hunks of roasted meat awaited this time

Tempting Gary to push his limits once more

Only ten minutes on the clock for the all you can eat competition

No problem eating eight pounds of meaty goodness

Yet during the competition, he savored not a single morsel

Hubris (an acrostic poem)

Honking the horn did nothing for Martin’s blood pressure

Unless a miracle happened, he was going to be late

Being so close to his exit, but no one would let him in

Reeling from this potential catastrophe, he noticed a solution

Inserting himself forcibly in front of a BMW, daring the woman in it to hit him

See, now he was going to make it home in time for the Rick and Morty rerun
