Giving worth to mastery of knowledge

Receiving a letter to honor that feat

Allows the recipient to show others their level of competence of the subject

Despite lack of proof otherwise

Expecting you to accept their expertise

Sarcasm (an acrostic poem)

So many people these days just donโ€™t get it

And that is a true problem of epic proportions

Reaching down deep to find that perfect level of irony

Capping it with a verbal twist of the vocal cords

Announces a superior intellect and competence

So much so that all should bow down to those who have mastered it

Maybe now you know what to do?

Red Ink (an acrostic poem)

Rallying all his reserves, Fannie pushed on

Every time the pen touched the paper

Doubt in her teaching competence would grow

It was always soul-crushing being an impartial arbiter

Now her hands were covered in the remains of her grading rubric

Killing her will to continue as her soul bled out on the page
