Mask (an acrostic poem)

May your true self always be hidden from prying eyes

As you go about your daily life

Simplifies things like emotional attachments

Keeping everyone distant and you, safe.

Fail (an acrostic poem)

Food is always there, tempting Liza

And she honestly set a goal each morning to resist its charms

It is a daily struggle to see if she can stick to her goals

Leaving her depressed and disappointed as she wipes off doughnut crumbs

Life (an acrostic poem)

Little things annoyed Francine to no end

It even included the big things, really, just those happened less often

Francine wondered why she had to deal with it daily

Eventually, she accepted it was to remind her she was alive
