Club (an acrostic poem)

Can’t hear the person next to you even though they are shouting into your ear

Loud doesn’t start to describe the thump of the speakers

Under that audio assault, your body has no choice but to move to the beat

Becoming yet another cog in the music box machine

Bunny (an acrostic poem)

Bright eyed and bushy tailed was how they described her

Until that one morning she cracked and decided to punish their sin of sloth

Now she took their breakfast, camouflaged it, then hid it, forcing them to work for it

Never again did they miss a sunrise in her house

You could say she was pretty hard boiled after all!

Crab (an acrostic poem)

Cuddly was not an adjective used to describe Timmy

Rarely was he not bellyaching or griping about something

And even though you would think he had a hard shell he was really a softy

Because of that people would just devour him when the season was right

Fragile (an acrostic poem)

Flexible was never how Cybil would describe herself

Really she was almost as stiff as a steel beam

And yet she was nowhere as tough

Given she could simply walk down the street and pull any number of muscles

It was frustrating to want to do so much, but she just couldn’t

Looking at her you would never know

Else you might cut her some slack
