Everything was about him, and that was the long and short of it

God knew why she couldn’t get that through her diminutive pitiful mind

Of course it might have been because he never told her, but that was her problem

Cussing like a drunken sailor that stubbed his toe on the anchor chain of some 18th century Caribbean pirate boat

Rachel made all of the people around her blush almost redder than her flame colored locks

All anyone thought of the diminutive woman was how cute and childlike she was

So when she showed her ability to adult like some of the most depraved adults that ever adulted

So many people swore they never saw it coming.

Perhaps short was not quite the right word

Even diminutive didn’t fit her stature

There was so much crammed in that tiny package

It boggled his mind as he lay there

The fact that she graced him with a slight smug smile made his heart flutter

Even as his jaw throbbed from her uppercut
