Many hands make the chore light
And that was his philosophy through life
Reaching out with his hands to help all those he could
Keeping to this up even as he passed, so many came to celebrate him, it made his passing easier.
Many hands make the chore light
And that was his philosophy through life
Reaching out with his hands to help all those he could
Keeping to this up even as he passed, so many came to celebrate him, it made his passing easier.
Flying through the air with a flick of the wrist
Leaving the heft of the situation behind, if only for a moment
It was his way of making these hard days a small bit easier
Not that Ginger cared about that. She just wanted to enjoy her time with him, but it
Gave him a breather from life while he waited for the collie to bring the frisbee back
Perhaps he should just conform to the pirates’ code
And just wear the basic black

He put back on the rhinestone studded one, even though it hurt because it looked fabulous!

It seemed easier to not think and go with her heart in those circumstances

Maybe I would fit in if he just compromised a little bit
If he could be just a bit more flexible with his morals
Shift a bit in his political views one direction or another
Find a niche where the contrast grayed out just a bit more
It would make things so much easier in life
The fact that that would break him leaves him with no choice and loneliness

At least he could reward himself with a beer after work
Sitting on his bar stool he raised his glass to no one
I drink in your honor he thought
Everything began to fit into perspective
Relaxing as put back down the glass and left the bar
