“What’s that at the end of your nose?”
“Ah, that’s a wee bit of nothin’.”
“Really now? I think you might be one of them thar witches.”
“That’s so stereotypical, you bigot. Keep that up and I’ll turn you into a newt!”
Claustrophobic tall walls keep closing in the farther he fled
As he rounded a corner, he came to a sheer cliff face announcing it was the end of the road
Now all he could do was turn around and confront his greatest fear
Years had passed since the last time he had faced the gunslinger
On that occasion. he had escaped with only losing his dignity
Now it was time to pay for all those years of running… A single shot echoed.
The journey is the reason for going they say
Really, for me, it is for the sand and the waves
Every mile traveling there is just a means to an end
Knowing that makes the miles worth it
Whimsical pondering about how everything works
Observing the universe and attempting to understand the underpinnings
Never being settled with almost right, but wanting perfect information
Determining how everything began, how it will end, and everything in between
Except perfect information is not available, so instead we guess and see how close we get
Remembering when we get things wrong it becomes a starting point for something new

Believing in one’s ability to control the machine, the button is pressed
Observing the fallacy of that confidence as the droid fails to do what was desired
Though in the end, the comradery and lessons learned far outweighed the disappointment
STEM encapsulates an ever beating heart and a spirit that will rise from the ashes of failure
Living at the end of the line
As she watches people cut in up ahead
She should be really upset at having to wait longer but,
The fact she doesn’t have to go home yet made her so safe and happy
Determined to examine the nuances of the letter
Every word, space, and paragraph were dissected
To ascertain the possible meanings, both implicit and implied
And at the end of it all
It came down to only one thing
Love
Coming to the end meant that it was time for a new beginning
Until now, he had never thought about what that next would be
Since it seemed impossible that they had a chance to survive this nightmare
Pushing that aside he took out the Ring and was about to throw it in, but he had second thoughts…
What she loved to do was count the stars in the night sky
Only she knew she could never get an accurate number
Not once did she let it stop her from what she perceived was her duty
Determined to be a witness to every star’s existence in its moment of time
Everything comes to an end, and one day she might be the only one to notice
Remembering the dot of light for what it might have been before it wasn’t there anymore
