Protest (an acrostic poem)

Putting your beliefs out there for all to see

Rallying among people of like mind

Order out of the chaos of the moment

That’s when the cause can gain momentum

Engaging those that were on the fence

Such that the need would codify into a moment written about in history books

That future gatherings would morph into celebration

Dream (an acrostic poem)

Diving deep under the covers to embrace sleep

Racing into a realm of magic, wonder, and amazement

Engaging in a disastrous discussion with a pompous platypus

As the house of cards you built burns because you only had two pair…

Maybe you should have not eaten that peperoni pizza before going to bed

Teacher (an acrostic poem)

The problem seemed unsolvable

Everyone in the class vehemently agreed that it couldn’t be done

And Miss Snow wistfully agreed, but then she began to ask questions

Can you.. could you… how would you…

Having their preconceived notions challenged, they began to explore

Engaging the problem with new vigor, trying new possible solutions

Reaching the answer, they were proud to prove Miss Snow wrong.
