So many questions that need answers found

Only each of those answers spawn more crunchy questions

Leaving the circle of knowledge ever turning

Valuable as that cycle is, sometimes you just want to find an end

Especially when it come to taking an exam

Maybe you think you know what is going on

You think you have the solutions to life’s final exam

Still I wonder if the answer key has even been made yet

There seems so much chaos and disorder

Every time I turn around, I find that my current guess was not quite right

Really most of the time I was flat out wrong.  It gets quite frustrating

Yet still every day I get up and try to solve my little corner of life’s …

Final Exam (an acrostic poem)

For all the marbles

It is the last hurdle before the summer

Now is the time to prove mastery

And if you do, the glory of that elusive 4.0 awaits

Lest you fall into the pit of despair

Everyone dreads that test, even the professors

X-ray vision on both sides looking for the core of understanding

Amid the trivia of facts and figures

Make your best-educated guess and may the odds be ever in your favor

Final Exam Anxiety (a 100 word story)

Jess looked around the room.  She wasn’t the only one with questioning what was going on.  She had her final exam, but she wasn’t sure what she should do.  The professor had joked before he stepped out, telling them to cheat, but cheat quietly.

Jess looked questioningly at Fred.  He shook his head and went back to work.  Jess wanted to scream.  Did he mean it or not?  Was this the real test?  She wanted to scream!

Eventually she silently just did the exam on her own and left.   They all did.  No one was willing to take the chance.
