Frank (an acrostic conversation)

For goodness sake, I thought you would be prettier.

Really?  That’s how you want to start our date?

Actually, yes.  I told you I was honest to a fault when we talked on the phone

Now that was truth in advertising.  Refreshing.  Still, you’re a jerk, and I’ll be leaving.

Knew that would happen.  At least I didn’t have to buy your dinner.

Sling (an acrostic poem)

So it was a David versus Goliath affair

Liam felt his hopes dangling on the edge of a cliff

If he ever lost faith that he had a chance

Nobody would fault him, but

Giving his shoulders a heave he walked over and asked her out

Parade (an acrostic poem)

Perhaps the usual suspects were sick of being usual

And that’s why they decided this time it was going to be their fault

Rather than letting the latest false accusation by the principal go by

As they piled penny after penny into the door jam

Determined to trap him and show how they felt under his constant persecution

Except he wasn’t there.  The next day he gave them his two cents, with interest
