Reaching down, she scooped up a handful of the deep dark soil
Old smells of peat and fertilizer mingled with aromas of earth and moisture
Overhead, the sun poured light down, saturating the field
The seeds there were snuggling underneath their cozy brown blanket
So many people wondered why she chose to be a farmer, but this was where she had her…

Velocity was too high and from the wrong direction for the two spacecraft to dock.

Even with all the acceleration he had at his fingertips, the joining would not be successful.

Considering the impulse they were about to experience, he shouted, “Brace yourselves!”

The impact caused them to increase angular momentum, spinning them and the forces pinned them hard against their seats.

Observing their attempted destination spin away into the void, he fired the thrusters to arrest the erratic rotation.

Rockets fired and the spacecraft slowed in the gravitational field it floated in.

So do you believe in the magic that surrounds you?

Pushing the fantastical into the factual

Enabling imagination to define reality

Letting wonder bloom in the field of drab predictability

Let’s drink deep of this fever dream and cast our fancy into the world

Oscillating around her, trapped in her emotional gravitational field

Rotating in and out of her sunny disposition

Bob felt like their relationship was becoming too predictable

It changed and became chaotic and way more complicated

Keeping on top was always Bob’s goal

It allowed him to jump over the obstacles in his way

Now the playing field was empty of most of the chafe

Giving Bob a clear idea of who is real competition was

 

Moving diagonally, he finally found his home

Enabling him to kick it to the next level
