Leaving that loser Marc Anthony behind of course

And she loved the idea of dancing with Frank Astaire

Singing in the rain dodging the puddles in her swing dress

She enjoyed belting songs with Patsy Kline at full volume

It made her feel connected to life

For goodness sake, I thought you would be prettier.

Really?  That’s how you want to start our date?

Actually, yes.  I told you I was honest to a fault when we talked on the phone

Now that was truth in advertising.  Refreshing.  Still, you’re a jerk, and I’ll be leaving.

Knew that would happen.  At least I didn’t have to buy your dinner.
