He rubbed his bald head in frustration

All his follicles had rebelled so young

It made him wonder what he did to them to make them hate him

Really they just wanted to show off his head’s perfect shape

The hammer felt so good in his calloused hand

Only that didn’t seem enough for this task

Opening up the metal box he reached in and pulled out a larger hammer

Thinking (an acrostic poem)

There are always two sides to every story

He put down the book and shook his head

It didn’t really make sense that it was black and white

Nuance told him two sides were really a myriad of grays

Knowing that and applying it were two different things though

It made his life a practice of frustration, but still he tried

Nothing could be gained by giving up, so he embraced the gray

Good thing he was already color blind
