Diner (an acrostic poem)

Dinner rush was hitting hard, not a seat at the counter was empty

It was moments like this that made Tracy’s spirit sing

Nudging her to be more efficient taking orders, expediting, and jumping on the line

Energy flowed from her to her customers satisfying their appetite for perfection

Rush ended and Tracy felt wrung out since she had poured out her soul into their meals

Flirt (an acrostic poem)

Florence was wearing her adorable floral dress today.

Lilly was visiting the boy next door.

It was going to be fun dropping in on the two of them.

Randy would be flustered; Lilly would be chatty.

The fact that both would be hitting on her made her so happy.

Punch (an acrostic poem)

Pounding back the sugary alcohol

Until my eyes cross from both drugs hitting my system

Now he gets into my space and spits in my face

Could barely stand I was so bad off, but I could only take so much

Hitting him in the mouth put him in the same state as I as we both fell down
