He normally didn’t care about his reputation

Others could go screw themselves if they wanted to judge him

Now though, his whole world was flipped upside-down

On this day he had become a father

Responsible to this precious little girl…

Giving worth to mastery of knowledge

Receiving a letter to honor that feat

Allows the recipient to show others their level of competence of the subject

Despite lack of proof otherwise

Expecting you to accept their expertise

Sometimes it’s those flukes of luck that change the world

Everyone thinks it is greatness, but so much is being in the right place at the right time

Realizing that you are in that moment for a reason

Engaging in what needs to be done to create your new normal

Now sometimes it is pure happenstance

Dumb luck if you will

It can be such a blessing

Perhaps it was more than that, though

It was a break waiting for you to come along to happen

That you were, for that moment in time, the chosen one

You just need to accept the honor
