Industry take 2 (an acrostic poem)

 

It is all about you, trust us

Now get to work and push through the pain

Don’t you know when we do well you do well

Until there is a downturn

Still, don’t worry about that.  We will always be successful

That’s why we need you to work so hard

Really, get back to work, we have your back

Your severance package will be exciting

Industry (an acrostic poem)

 

It all started with a glimmer of an idea

Not anything big, barely something you could see if you squinted

Dim as it was, someone saw the importance of it

Under their careful eyes, the idea grew and grew

Soon there was a prototype, then first generation

That morphed into a product that they could be proud of

Releasing it into the world to see how it would be received

Yet already working on what would come next
