Finding upside down smiles scattered among the audience

Richard tried to make a quick joke to lighten the mood

Only it didn’t work, and more people joined the unhappy camp

When he decided one more time, they started to angrily yell at him

Nobody warned him that practicing his startup at a funeral was going to be such a bad idea

So a neutron goes into a bar and asks, “How much for a beer?”  The bartender says, “For you, no charge.”

If your boss tells you to have a nice day, does that mean you can go home?

Looking for a bitter and sweet drink?  Try some Reali-tea.

Listen, singing in the shower is fun until you get soap in your mouth, then it becomes a soap opera.

You know what, I was going to tell you a time-traveling joke, but you didn’t like it.

Little giggles slipped from his lips

As she bent over into a full belly guffaw

Under the withering gaze of the priest, they tried to compose themselves

Guests looked aghast and that sent the couple into another fit of snickers

Okay, maybe it only makes it happier for me

Knowing that you fell for my ruse and now have to do the walk of shame

It almost brings a tear to my eye… because I’m laughing so hard

Clown (an acrostic poem)

Coloring her face to hide the emotions inside

Leaving a smile prominently painted in place

When the party was over she would sit alone in her car and cry

No one knew that the joke was on them

Certify (an acrostic conversation)

Can you show me for sure who you claim to be?”

Even a DNA test wouldn’t be good enough for the likes of you.”

Really that would be a great first step.”

That was supposed to be a joke.”

It was?  Security is no laughing matter.”

For goodness sake, just let me have the stupid WiFi password”

You can have it when I have at least twelve forms of photographic ID.”

Lame (an acrostic poem)

Limping into work, Liza felt crappy

As she got to her desk she got a call that she needed to go to HR

Manager there told her she was being let go because of an inappropriate joke

Eventually, she stumbled home, physically, mentally, and emotionally…
