Loki (an acrostic poem)

Little joke here or trick there makes every day a bit happier

Okay, maybe it only makes it happier for me

Knowing that you fell for my ruse and now have to do the walk of shame

It almost brings a tear to my eye… because I’m laughing so hard

Fast (an acrostic poem)

Flying by quicker than a speeding bullet

And laughing at how slow that bullet really is

Seconds and minutes turn into hours before you know it

That is the type of speed that kills productivity

Flying (an acrostic poem)

Floating through the air

Laughing with unadulterated joy

Yielding finally to gravity, you fell

Into my waiting arms

Now you soar without me needing to catch you

God, I miss that job

Youth (an acrostic poem )

Young at heart, her dad tried to look cool

Only he had no chance, and she knew it

Unaware of his odds, he struck a pose in front of her friends

They burst out laughing at his ineptness

He looked crestfallen, until she clapped, then hugged him

Certify (an acrostic conversation)

Can you show me for sure who you claim to be?”

Even a DNA test wouldn’t be good enough for the likes of you.”

Really that would be a great first step.”

That was supposed to be a joke.”

It was?  Security is no laughing matter.”

For goodness sake, just let me have the stupid WiFi password”

You can have it when I have at least twelve forms of photographic ID.”

RIP (an acrostic poem)

Raising the casket onto his shoulder worried Bart, so he made sure to crouch down

Inside was Uncle Ken, and while Bart loved him for his sense of humor, he was quite a load

Pulling up hard, Bart felt his pants tear in the seat and knew Ken was laughing.  He joined in.

Balls (an acrostic poem)

Bowling down her competition

Abagail paused to catch her breath

Looking for a sign for where next to strike

Laughing at how they mockingly told her to grow a pair

She threw herself into finishing them off
