Layers (an acrostic poem)

Looking through sheet after sheet of code and information, trying to find his traces

As she peeled back the Tor “onion” server

Yielding few results from her computer forensic investigation

Everything was a matter of time, though

Ridding all traces of her initial hack of the system was well worth the effort

So the things she left behind would point an arrow only to him

Standing in front of the mirror, he feels vulnerable

Until he starts the process of putting on his armor

It’s part the ritual and part the layers of protection.

That makes him feel invulnerable, especially with the addition of the power tie.

Damned if you do… (a 50 word story)

The layers of butter and flour stared at Frank, daring him to resist their crunchy flaky goodness.  He knew taking one bite would be the end of him.  Instead, he ate the whole thing.  Frank was in for a few rounds on his porcelain throne, but damn it was good.
