People say the pen is mightier than the sword

Except they are missing the point, the manually sharpened point

Now you could include mechanical versions, but that is such a lazy game

Can’t use all geometric aspects of the lead to create crisp lines to gentle shading

It is a uni-tasker, and as such fits more of the pen diatribe

Let’s admit it, all the power you need is located in a good No. 2…

Been doing all the things

Understand that means lots of naps

Some may say that she’s lazy

You would be wrong. Dreaming is hard work.

Living life at his own pace

As the rest of the world rushed towards nothing

Zany to think that he was the “wrong” one

Yet he was content and they were not.

Present (an acrostic poem)

 

Put a bow on it and it would be done

Really that seemed so old school

Everyone these days was striving to be original

So it meant a lazy old bow on top would be just too boomer

Everything about him giving it to her would be on TikTok, so he couldn’t disappoint

Now the use of a bow on a gift might not get views

The strategic placement of it as he gave it to her in his birthday suit though….

Listing on the sea of life

As waves bob me up and down

Zillions of things demand my attention

Yet all I do is wonder what is for lunch

Looking at the pile of papers on his desk, Tim just gave a shrug

As much as he wanted to get them graded, he wanted to not grade them even more

Zany as it sounded, this made Time pretty happy

Yet he realized he was going to repeat this exercise next week
