Putting together ideas that function in lock step

Letting the dominos fall till their inevitable conclusion is so satisfying

And yet, without question, something will not go as you projected

Now how you engineer what comes after is a true test of your design

Fear (an acrostic poem)

Focus on the lock.  Focus on the lock!

Even though Myra could hear the monster coming

As she finally got the combination right, she felt the razor slice her throat

Reality shattered as she felt her life force pulse away

Deftly (an acrostic poem)

Dexterously Susan picked the lock on Brad’s safe

Easing out the jewels and money, she finally located the flash drive

Fitting it her reader she soon had everything copied

Then she encrypted the originals and put everything back as it was

Yielding herself a small smile, she wandered back to the party.  She deserved that drink

Hostile (an acrostic poem)

Hacking the electronic lock was Pascal’s job, and it should have been easy

Oscar pointed his gun down the hallway and let loose a short burst

“Still can’t open it?” he yelled as he pulled back around the corner

“Too much going on,” she grunted as she tried again

Instead of responding to her, Oscar jumped back into the hallway

Letting have her a few more moments

Even as his body fell to the floor and the door finally opened
