Courting the queen was a dangerous move
Her ability to strike out was legendary, and she was so shifty
Every knight on both sides was hopping about to avoid her
So it was a surprise when she seemed to stumble into a trap by the opposing faction
So while they celebrated their minor victory, their king was brought low
All the queen’s men stood tall; heads bowed low
Giving respect for the pine box being carried between them
Every eye was dry, but their hearts wept with each beat
Nothing was more important than being there to respect their fallen comrade
Then they would go out into the world and exact revenge
The music began with a low, moody, ominous bass part.
On screen, lightning played among the far hills.
Nobody seemed to have a plan as to how to stop the zombie invasion.
Except one! She pulled out her phone and that is what cued the Bollywood style dance-off!
Life kind of getting you down?
Or are you just having one of those blah days?
Well remember you still have a friend here you can talk to, or Garth Brooks if he’s around.
“Focus on the cornucopia of sweetness in front of you”
“Really dude? It’s like oranges, bananas, and like coconuts.”
“Unless you learn to see the totality of sweet vitamins and minerals you will be lost in carbs”
“Isn’t that stuff loaded with carbs? Like, that’s why it’s sweet, dude.”
“That may be true. Can I interest you in a zucchini?”
“Stay far away from me with that thing. You might poke an eye out.”
Push yourself all the way up to the summit.
Enjoy the view from being on top of the world
And in that moment, realize that all the work was worth it
Keep that high in your heart no matter how low you find yourself later on.
So you know you can do that climb again. You have proof.
