You remember those days when your body didn’t ache
Or you could eat two pizzas and not gain a pound
Until that dreaded middle age kicked in
That flipped your whole world, but you didn’t notice till it was too late
Here we are now, but there is a silver lining. Okay, maybe not.
So many annoyances buzzing all around.
Why are they picking on me?
All I want to do is swat at these bothersome gits
Releasing me to get on with my life
Maybe if I bought one of those electric zappers
Pushing the handle up and down
Usually, Diane didn’t care, and she would just leave
Maybe someday that will be the case again
Praying that day would be soon since it seemed she was out of sanitizer
