Feasting on some tasty thigh meat

Ernie thought this celebration during Yuletide was the best

As there were so many yummy dishes to choose from

The more unusual the better, of course, to a gastronome like himself

It was for this particular moment that he wrote that silly repetitious song so long ago

Vivid imagery that was in the song focused on each of the dozen dishes that he now partook

And it always made him laugh when he crossed the Veil and heard one of the meat sacks sing it

Lifting another hunk of milkmaid on top of his piece drummer, he hummed “five golden rings…”

Head (an acrostic poem)

He danced along his mental landscape

Enjoying the infinite possibilities inside his mind

Allowing his imagination to go wild

Determined to escape the reality his meat brain was stuck in

Cyborg (an acrostic poem)

Computer chips and meat meshed together was now his identity

You would think he would feel superior

But he felt definitely less than human

Of course, now he could now bench press a bus

Reality was he was a ghost in his own machine

Giving him a haunted look in his remaining eye

Gluttony (an acrostic poem)

Gastronomical wonders coursed through his dreams

Leaving Gary with a sense of contentment

Until the alarm went off announcing the next course

Towering hunks of roasted meat awaited this time

Tempting Gary to push his limits once more

Only ten minutes on the clock for the all you can eat competition

No problem eating eight pounds of meaty goodness

Yet during the competition, he savored not a single morsel
