People say the pen is mightier than the sword

Except they are missing the point, the manually sharpened point

Now you could include mechanical versions, but that is such a lazy game

Can’t use all geometric aspects of the lead to create crisp lines to gentle shading

It is a uni-tasker, and as such fits more of the pen diatribe

Let’s admit it, all the power you need is located in a good No. 2…

Song (an acrostic poem)

Sounds dancing harmoniously within her soul

Oozing the gospel of the human experience like the sweat dripping from her pores

Never missing the beat of her nervous heart

Giving a moment that connected all dots, all the people, all the experiences

Theft (an acrostic poem)

Then he realized his heart was missing

He looked around wildly, looking for who had stolen it

Ellen smiled, knowing the answer

Finally, he felt her hand in his and shook his head

That’s when he kissed her and tried to take her breath away
