Viewing those things that were not there
It was the bane of her existence
She wanted to expose them and show others what they could not see
If only she was better at that than she was. Every time she tried; the figments fled
Organizing her chaotic thoughts, she decided to try a different trap this time
NaNoWriMo would be motivation to finally capture them inside her words
Focusing on what memories she had left
Organizing them in some sort of mental filing cabinet
Realizing later that she had lost the keys to those drawers
Giving her so much less to attach her to this existence
Everything that was her softly faded out, lost to everyone
The fact that she was still alive was little consolation
Putting a piece of yourself out into the digital world
Organizing a public persona that the private one hides behind
Still, some of the private part leaks through the online words and pictures
That’s the good/bad of social media.
Making miniatures of real life was their thing
Organizing all the bits and pieces
Determining how to fit them all together
Enabling the construct to simulate the reality, but at a smaller level
Letting them travel through time as they watched the big bang unfold on their computer screen
Reaching down to find your center
Obtaining nutrients from the fertile soil around you
Organizing and grounding in your immediate world
Though you sway in the winds of change
Serenity is yours because your anchors run deep

Then trying to make a logical choice
Even then it all comes down to a few slips of paper
