And he knew this was almost more important than the invention itself

Making him wonder if maybe he should shelve the whole stinking kit and kaboodle

Except the WhositwhatsitYouSitISittm was so cool otherwise

Cutting wood and working up a sweat

He fell into a rhythm that made the job almost pleasurable

Only his hands, his back, and his arms would claim otherwise

Perhaps it wasn’t pleasurable at all

Receiving a letter to honor that feat

Allows the recipient to show others their level of competence of the subject

Despite lack of proof otherwise

Expecting you to accept their expertise
