Reaching for the bottle and pouring out a healthy shot
Under the full moon on a tropical beach
Maybe this summons the spirit of a legendary pirate, or at least a wannabe one who can dance
Reaching for the bottle and pouring out a healthy shot
Under the full moon on a tropical beach
Maybe this summons the spirit of a legendary pirate, or at least a wannabe one who can dance
Perhaps he should just conform to the pirates’ code
And just wear the basic black
That would make things so much easier
Considering how much he loved to stand out, though
He put back on the rhinestone studded one, even though it hurt because it looked fabulous!
Cussing like a drunken sailor that stubbed his toe on the anchor chain of some 18th century Caribbean pirate boat
Rachel made all of the people around her blush almost redder than her flame colored locks
All anyone thought of the diminutive woman was how cute and childlike she was
So when she showed her ability to adult like some of the most depraved adults that ever adulted
So many people swore they never saw it coming.
The sand blew across the beach, stinging Ray’s face
Roaring waves ran themselves onto the shore
Everything screamed pirate to him
And to think the chest could be buried right below his feet
So many years ago his grandfather had hinted about this very place
Under the tropical sun, Ray was finally ready to prove the old man right
Reaching for his shovel he began to dig, looking for the possible riches
Eventually Grandpa laughed, picking Ray up and carrying him into the surf
