Putting her unadorned baggy white dress on

Leaving so much to the imagination that it hurt to even try to fantasize anything about her

And piling her hair up under her uninspiring hat

It gave the world the perfect vanilla picture she craved them to know

Nobody would expect the wildness contained therein until it was too late

Stench of burnt sugar permeated the kitchen,

Making the smoke detector chime in with its opinion on the situation.

Everyone came running in to see what happened.

Lee just shrugged and put the butter away in the fridge.

Looks like they would have to settle for plain ice cream, and that just stinks!

Focusing on the boring fundamentals was not his strong suit

All he wanted to do was gild the lily with as much gold as it could handle

Nothing made him happier than making those around him not feel plain

Causing them to bloom and allowing him to make them sparkle even more

Yet when he looked into the mirror he didn’t see anything …

Pushing the paperwork across his desk

Larry knew he wasn’t the most exciting man

As a matter of fact, he preferred that he was so stable

It made his life nice and predictable

Now if he could just convince himself of that
