Line (an acrostic conversation)

“Last thing I plan on doing is dying”

“I guess it’s a a way to live your life, but it’s sort of weird though.”

“Nah. Everyone should live that way. Now that you know my master plan, what is yours?”

“Everything I can do to help you achieve your end goal.”

Plan (an acrostic poem)

Image: scotthoward.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/plan.jpg

Putting together ideas that function in lock step

Letting the dominos fall till their inevitable conclusion is so satisfying

And yet, without question, something will not go as you projected

Now how you engineer what comes after is a true test of your design

Consequences (an acrostic poem)

Crisp hundred dollar bill was slipped inside the card

Okay, maybe that wasn’t enough.  A second one went in

Now that should buy some mercy or at least forgiveness

She couldn’t want that much more from him

Everything had gone according to plan

Quaint superstitions and taboos were maintained

Under his watchful eye

Everything had gone perfectly

Now he realized that perfect had been from his perspective

Couldn’t have anticipated she would have so much trouble with it

Everyone is a bit weird.  People were messy, and she was people

Still, two hundred should buy his way out, right?

Wants / Needs (an acrostic poem)

With everything arrayed in front of him

Albert just couldn’t make up his mind

Nothing there would satisfy his itch

Then again, it could be he desired it all.  If only…

Sighing he just sat there

Neville grinned at Albert’s quandary

Everything was going according to plan

Even if Albert made a decision, he would regret it

Doubt was all Neville desired.  His job here was done.

Satan will enjoy this soul!

Crafty (an acrostic poem)

Cutting out yet another bunny body from a paper plate

Ruth smiled to herself as her plan was coming together so nicely

All she needed to do was first attach the head and legs

Finishing it with a bit of color, cotton balls, and a bit of perfume

To think Stevie would unsuspectingly bring it home to his dad

Yet his dad would be horrified to  realize that now Ruth knew he was married

Caution (an acrostic poem)

Cliff looked at the oncoming traffic

All it would take is one step, and it would be all over

Unless they could get help to him in time

Then it would be even more pain

It was too risky of a plan

Oncoming traffic still whizzed by, oblivious to all this

Nope, it was none of their concern
