Feeling where his eyes, his cheekbones, and his jaw were. It gave her a quick mental picture.

Alice smiled.  He was a handsome boy for sure.

Clyde asked her, “Would you like to see how my lips feel?”

Everything stopped as his lips pressed against hers.

Believing in one’s ability to control the machine, the button is pressed

Observing the fallacy of that confidence as the droid fails to do what was desired

Though in the end, the comradery and lessons learned far outweighed the disappointment

STEM encapsulates an ever beating heart and a spirit that will rise from the ashes of failure

Cider (an acrostic poem)

Cold pressed apple fluids left outside in a large jug

In the dead of winter the water freezes on top

Driving the flavor into a more concentrated solution below

Each time the blah ice is then removed and the process repeats over and over for months

Rewarded finally with a fermented drink that tasted of sunny autumn days and patience
