Finding a good avocado was impossible.  They were all too hard.

It seemed to be an explicit rule when he wanted to make guac

Robust testing of this idea had been happening over the past ten years to prove it

Making all the businesses between him and the avocado tree suspect of conspiring

Ignored (an acrostic conversation)

I see you haven’t been paying attention to me.

Give me a break.  I always pay attention to you.

No, you’re not.  I can prove it.

Okay Ms. Smarty Pants, present your evidence.

Randy, you just told me I could paint a mural on your truck.

Evidently you didn’t know I was secretly hoping you would.

Dumbass, I actually asked you to pass the chips!

Final Exam (an acrostic poem)

For all the marbles

It is the last hurdle before the summer

Now is the time to prove mastery

And if you do, the glory of that elusive 4.0 awaits

Lest you fall into the pit of despair

Everyone dreads that test, even the professors

X-ray vision on both sides looking for the core of understanding

Amid the trivia of facts and figures

Make your best-educated guess and may the odds be ever in your favor
