Stop (an acrostic poem)

Stay put and don’t move.

That was what the sign meant.

Of course I challenged that box society tried to put me in.

Policeman didn’t agree with my public protest and gave me a ticket for my failure to…

Hurt (an acrostic poem)

Her eyes leaked water, at least that’s how he looked at it

Useless showing one’s emotions in public like that

Really it was contemptuous her humiliating display

That was what he was going to do in the privacy of his shower

Decisions (an acrostic poem) part 9

Deciding to take on his grisly task

Everything began to fall into place

Considering how easy it was to plan to kill someone

If there was ever a catch, it was how to dispose of the body

Someone was almost always going to find it

It was important to make that task difficult though

Only Mike didn’t want to make it too difficult

No need for his blackmailer to get nervous and go public

Sighing, Mike got into his car to head out3

Push (an acrostic poem)

People are always looking for an angle, an easy way in or out

Undermining their altruistic public face

So sick of false narratives that sell whitewashed souls

Hey maybe it’s time to shove back
