Muddle (an acrostic poem)

Maybe he wasn’t the most efficient person

Under duress, he could be even worse

Determination, though, was something he had in abundance

Determination to show those faster hares what a tortoise could do

Life could take the rat race and shove it

Eventually, he would make a better mousetrap and they would all have to slow down

Questioning what I do will cost you more.”

Uh, why do you say that?”

As you waste my time asking me, the expert you hired, stupid questions, my price goes up.”

Reasonable, but that isn’t a good working relationship.”

This isn’t a coworker situation. We have an employer-employee situation.”

Except that always ends in a toxic work environment. We need to have a de-escalation training.”

Really? You think that? I quit! You can take your two bits and shove them!”

People are always looking for an angle, an easy way in or out

Undermining their altruistic public face

So sick of false narratives that sell whitewashed souls

Hey maybe it’s time to shove back
