Signals of her desire radiated outward at the speed of emotion.

Even as dense as he was, he had to sense something.

Nodding, he seemed ready to speak.  She stepped closer, hopeful.

Don’t you know it he ran away instead?  Next time she was going to try semaphore!

Speak (an acrostic poem)

Send your voice out into the world

Preach the truths that are on your heart

Embrace the things that make you, you

All I ask is that you let others take the floor

Know that their words need to be heard as well

Speech (an acrostic conversation)

Silence is becoming of you

Please!  You’re just trying to be a kerfuffle!

Even now do you hear how you talk?

Evidently, but what if I don’t give an aardvark’s nose about that?

Can you even explain what that’s supposed to mean?

Have you flummoxed with that one, aren’t ya?  See, I speak good!

Catch (an acrostic poem)

Count them.  Twenty-two.  Read ’em and weep.

And that means you busted.  You lost.

That’s not right.  You speak of deceptions.  I always win.  I’m a winner

Can you follow the rules just this once?  You don’t always have to win

Ha!  That’s how a loser speaks.  I won’t fall for your trap!
