Kite (an acrostic poem)

Know how to fly, little one?

It involves string, cloth, structure, and magic

The first three are needed to make the object

Eventually the last is provided by the young ones watching it soar

Cookie (an acrostic poem)

Chocolate chips, brown sugar, vanilla extract play lead guitar

Oh, and all the stuff that gives it structure like a good back beat

Organize the lumps of raw dough on a baking sheet

Keeping good social distance between them

Igniting the oven and bringing it to temp so this party can get started

Everything comes out ooey, gooey, and so bad for you.  Yum!

For the recipe of the above pictured cookies go to: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/giant-chocolate-chip-cookies/

(I have not tried them yet, but they look awesome!)

Plot (an acrostic poem)

Putting characters into harm’s way seemed like fun

Little did he know how painful it was going to be to him

Ordinary words built the structure one at a time

Then the book was done until someone pointed out a hole!
