Watch (an acrostic poem)

When the hands swept past noon

All eyes were drawn to the two men standing in the street

Today only one of them would walk away

Capping a monumental story of conflict between two protagonists

High above, the bells chimed out, punctuated by two percussive blasts, and then dead silence

Reset (an acrostic poem)

Really need to define a new starting line

Enabling oneself to begin anew

So all the wanderings previously done are swept into the past

Excited to try again with the hope of fulfilling the quest this time

The learnings from the past are important, but sometimes you need a new genesis

Alone (an acrostic poem)

As the party swirled around him

Liam felt like he was in the eye of the storm

Only those looking for a respite would stop to chat

Never staying long before being swept back up into the fray

Eventually, he faded away back home
