The fact that she flirted so hard but kept him away was so attractive

And at the same time was so frustrating in so many ways

Rachel just needed to get over herself and give in

That and he needed to get his sister to leave the two of them alone

The bitter taste Rachel had in her mouth made her lips pucker

As he made an ass of himself yet again

Really she knew she couldn’t stand to be around the idiot, but she had to put up with him

The fact that his sister was so hot made it worth putting up with the frustration…

Crisps (an acrostic poem)

Crunchy chips deliver their payload of salt and carbs

Rallying my taste buds into a feeding frenzy

It becomes an addictive craving that must be met

Soon the bag is consumed, and I look around

People at the grocery store are looking at me weirdly

So what you’re saying is should have waited till I got home?

Soup (an acrostic poem)

Slurping the yummy broth made her taste buds dance

Oregano and tomato played the bass notes

Under the delightful melody of lemon zest high notes

Pasta applying the percussion on her tongue

Taste (an acrostic poem)

Those stripes will be yummy with a dash of polka dots

Adding the mismatched pink and green fluorescent socks to further spice it up

So put together a feast for your soul and embrace who you are

There might be people who want to throw up a bit when they see you walk down the street but…

Everyone has a different fashion palate when it comes to style.

Pouch (an acrostic poem)

Perhaps he pretty much was a slouch

Obviously because he never left his couch

Under that gut he had quite the brain I can avouch

Could be churlish and his taste quite louche

He made his money from selling his indoor poncho with a built in …

Salty (an acrostic poem)

Spewing swearwords at his partner

A lively discussion deteriorated into a verbal brawl

Leaving their relationship listless on the brackish waters of their tears

To think how fast something so spicy had lost all flavor

Yet it now left a sour taste in his mouth

Bacon (an acrostic poem)

Begging for porky goodness

As he smelled the applewood smoke drifting in the air

Cliffy could practically taste it now

Of course, waiting for it to be done was the hardest part

Not to mention he had to hope his humans fed him some

Soured (an acrostic poem)

Sweet nothings flowed from his mouth

Obvious to her now, he didn’t mean a thing he said

Until that moment she thought they had a chance

Reality left a bitter taste in her mouth, and her stomach roiled

Exacerbating the situation further he kept staring at her friend’s chest

Displeased with the whole situation she left him stranded at the party
