Posh (an acrostic poem)

Port slipped between his lips and played among his tastebuds

Out of a mere cask of oak and grapes came such complexity and contrast

Starboard tasted of sunkissed raspberries while the left side of his tongue sampled chocolate

Home might be where the love is, but for him, he wished to reside in this moment

Fast-food restaurant grease ran down his chubby fingers.

Reaching for the cup of bubbly sugar water to wash it down, he took a long swig.

It tasted so so good. He snatched up his burger and took another ferocious bite.

Eventually, the stuffing of his face subsided and he turned back to the problem at hand.

Differential equations had destroyed his brain, but after that carb load, it was time to strike back!

Determined to consume her weight in pasta

It tasted so good.  The sauce was so savory

Slurping noodle after noodle splattered sauce everywhere

Her date watched with a hungry smile.  He thought she was such a tasty…

Cold pressed apple fluids left outside in a large jug

In the dead of winter the water freezes on top

Driving the flavor into a more concentrated solution below

Each time the blah ice is then removed and the process repeats over and over for months

Rewarded finally with a fermented drink that tasted of sunny autumn days and patience
