Every nerve in her body screamed get the hell out!

Xenon lights flashing DANGER filled her subconscious.

It was time to get up and get out EXCEPT her boy was in there somewhere.

That’s why she gripped her sword tighter as she threw open the door.

Shot (an acrostic poem)

She felt so cold and lethargic.  Today was just one of those days.

He handed her a whiskey, and she threw it back

Oh it burned on the way down, but it then warmed her middle nicely

That soon spread throughout her body and things weren’t as bad anymore.

Concert (an acrostic poem)

Conducting the music of her life

Olivia is quite the maestro

Never missing an up beat

Crescendoing past anything life threw at her

Everything is so legato under her masterful baton

Retarding to a stately pace when it was time to rest

The angels give her a standing ovation in her dreams

Balls (an acrostic poem)

Bowling down her competition

Abagail paused to catch her breath

Looking for a sign for where next to strike

Laughing at how they mockingly told her to grow a pair

She threw herself into finishing them off
