Enemy (an acrostic poem)

Everything you do affects me negatively and yet

Now you have the nerve to just stand there in front of me trying to be innocent

Expecting me to forgive you of your many sins, so many of them against me

Maybe I should forgive you, something I should have learned in Sunday school

Yet I can’t do that, so that’s why I am going to throw out this mirror!

Cusp (an acrostic poem)

Coming to the end meant that it was time for a new beginning

Until now, he had never thought about what that next would be

Since it seemed impossible that they had a chance to survive this nightmare

Pushing that aside he took out the Ring and was about to throw it in, but he had second thoughts…

Taste (an acrostic poem)

Those stripes will be yummy with a dash of polka dots

Adding the mismatched pink and green fluorescent socks to further spice it up

So put together a feast for your soul and embrace who you are

There might be people who want to throw up a bit when they see you walk down the street but…

Everyone has a different fashion palate when it comes to style.

Throw (an acrostic poem)

Tossing insults like darts and getting bullseyes

He smiled at the silent marks drinking their cheap whiskey from the bottle

Reaching for a cigarette, he lit it and blew smoke at them

Only there still wasn’t a peep.  He closed his eyes and took another drag

Which is why he didn’t see the bottle fly into his nose

Fix (an acrostic poem)

Finding all the things that are wrong can be depressing

It can make you want to just throw everything out and get something new

X that idea out, sit down with your list, start at the top and rebuild it and make it yours

Script (an acrostic conversation)

So what is my line again?

Cut!  Take five everyone, except you.  Can’t you remember your line for five seconds?

Really.  I can get it, just throw me a bone.

I should just replace you with the gopher.  She knows the line.

Please!  Like you could.  I am an actor.  You are just… well what are you?

That would be your boss, and the person telling you you’re fired.

Trash (an acrostic poem)

The rubbish he was writing piled up around him

Rambling ideas clashing with the other balderdash

Any semblance to story was pure happenstance

So when he was just about to throw the refuse away

He stumbled onto what he was going to write.
