Beginning was so tiny that they called it big
And the sound that could not be there, a shot heard throughout the universe
Now we are the echoes of that cosmic starter’s pistol
Giving chase to the ever-fading light
Beginning was so tiny that they called it big
And the sound that could not be there, a shot heard throughout the universe
Now we are the echoes of that cosmic starter’s pistol
Giving chase to the ever-fading light
There was just a little more to do, he was sure of that
It shouldn’t take long, but that was the same thing he said three hours ago
Now he was still in his chair staring at the computer monitor, wondering how to kill all the bugs
You would think it was a gargantuan task, but he liked his job and to him it was…
The enormity of the situation was not lost on Joy.
It made everyone around her pause and take notice of how bad it was getting
Nothing in her life had prepared her for what was to come
Yet the feel of her baby daughter’s hand wrapped around her finger gave her hope.
Perhaps short was not quite the right word
Even diminutive didn’t fit her stature
There was so much crammed in that tiny package
It boggled his mind as he lay there
The fact that she graced him with a slight smug smile made his heart flutter
Even as his jaw throbbed from her uppercut
Visions of the infinite horizon
Assaulted his tiny mind
Space was nothing like he expected
Though the emptiness resonated with him

Sometimes you just have to concentrate on the details
Making them the blueprint of your life
Ask not what your life can do for you, but what you can do to have a life
Little things do matter, since they make up all the big things
Living tiny, in the moment, live fully
