Prey (an acrostic poem)

Praying she could make it in time, she dashed towards the light

Realizing the monsters were close by pushed her to go faster

Everything came down to was she fast enough, and she was worried she would be too late

Yet she didn’t need to, she swooped on the monsters, consuming them before they escaped

Crashing together in mortal combat

Leaving corpses in our wake

As we fight towards the gates of Hell

Soon we are against those blackened iron spikes

Here we will make our eternal stand

Ned thought he had been doing better as of late with trying different experiences

Extra things that his old self would have never even thought of trying

Watching the ground accelerate towards him made him reconsider that decision
