Rise Up (an acrostic poem)

Reach deep down inside of you when you feel dead

It’s there where you’re power resides

Set it loose upon your world

Everyone will fear your inner zombie

Undead and dangerous, you climb out of your energy grave

Pushing upright you shuffle off to find your brains

Panic (an acrostic poem)

Pushing through the masses running the opposite way

Andrea finally found the source of the hysteria

Necromancer and his undead minions were inducing dread

It made her furious and that insulated her from the induced terror

Clutching her glowing baseball bat she yelled, “Batter up!”

Undead (an acrostic poem)

Until I had breathed my last I had never thought about my mortality

Now those last few moments I wondered a lot about it through the pain

Death, as I found out, can be a tricky subject now

Even as I felt my heartbeat that last time I knew something was wrong

All I wanted to do was move for a light, or into space, or anywhere else than this body

Damned that I get to be a walking corpse for the rest of eternity.  Kill me now!
