Being on social media can be so draining

Left and right posts about hot takes and hot button issues

Or the unwanted advances of strangers into personal headspaces

Can make you want to flee and hide under an analog rock

Know that there is a button that might help put a stop to that

Ornament (an acrostic poem)

Oscar proudly walked down the red carpet with Sasha on his arm

Rarely had the whirl of cameras and flashes popping been so soothing to his nerves

Now if it were a normal day he would be duck and covering

Always trying to avoid unwanted attention

Many times it was inevitable and he just had to bite his tongue

Even when the paparazzi grew belligerent

Nearing the head of the line he pasted on his million-dollar smile

The fact he was Sasha’s ‘and one’ never bothered him.  He liked being arm candy
