Wings buzzed their warning against the evil death dealer

As it swooped in to get its revenge for the hundreds she had just killed

She screamed and brought up the can of bug spray to finish the job

Perhaps she was more the villain than the hero, but she terminated it and screamed victory

When the ground opened up, it swallowed the entire town.

How could such a thing happen without any warning?

Oh, and the hole kept getting bigger and bigger

Leaving an ever-growing scar across the landscape

Everyone was horrified as they turned the next page of Stephen King’s newest book

Drive (an acrostic poem)

Determined to get one more thing done

Rachel ignored the warning signs and barreled on

If she had just paid more attention

Viewing the road ahead enabled her to achieve above and beyond

Engine light went unnoticed until its prophecy came true
