Making money used to be her main focus

If she didn’t add something to her banking account, she felt it was wasting her time

Leaving her weighing her friendships against the gold she was not making

Losing out on experiences due to hoarding time to use to make her stash dragonesque in scope

It took someone asking her what she was going to do when she finally had seven figures saved

Oh, she could let loose and buy some things, go on a dream vacation, or have an awesome party

Nothing would buy the memories and experiences she missed, that was her true accounting

“Questioning what I do will cost you more.”

“Uh, why do you say that?”

“As you waste my time asking me, the expert you hired, stupid questions, my price goes up.”

“Reasonable, but that isn’t a good working relationship.”

“This isn’t a coworker situation. We have an employer-employee situation.”

“Except that always ends in a toxic work environment. We need to have a de-escalation training.”

“Really? You think that? I quit! You can take your two bits and shove them!”

Beating up her heart with blows of pure logic

Reality was there was no chance this was really love

Almost certainly it was just hormones and nothing more

It was a waste of time, and her resources were better used studying

Not that she could think of anything but the taste of his lips…

Temptation knocked at Wayne’s door

Rachel had called wanting a lift to a party

All Wayne could think about was would his car make it

Still you didn’t leave a woman like Rachel wanting

Hopefully this night wouldn’t be a waste

Can’t stand those Others

Others are genetic wastes

Nothing good ever comes from them

Fed up with having to deal with them

Useless is the best thing you could say about them

Still when I lost my wallet yesterday, an Other gave it back to me

Everything was still inside of it

Don’t know why this makes me feel uncomfortable
